Don’t Try to Be Happy

The last of human freedoms – the ability to chose one’s attitude in a given set of circumstances.
– Viktor Frankl

And you will fail.

Don’t try. Be happy. Now.

Happiness is a choice. And I choose to be happy now! There’s too much good for us not to be happy… (I guess I’m just a “the-glass-is-half-full” kinda guy).

      Hi Ribeezie,

Thanks for the comment and welcome to OBV! Well, I used to be a glass-half-empty guy — but not any more. Sulking isn’t as sexy as I thought it was. 😉

I believe in this as well – Happiness is a choice.

Hi Ari. I really like this quote. I’m all about choice. My favorite quote I have made up is “You can blame others or circimstances for your unhappiness or you can be happy.” Realizing you have a choice is so liberating!
