This is one of the nicest things that happened to my still-toddler blog: Barbara at Blogging without a Blog chose OBV as the New Blog of the Week, thanks to recommendations from both Al @ 7p Productions and Bamboo Forest of Pun Intended.
It’s very special to be recognized by fellow bloggers. I feel very grateful to receive many wonderful comments.
But speaking of comments, this happened to coincide with me working on a next major series — one that is very personal and difficult to write about — so I’m having a hard time keeping up with all the activities. Please be patient with me — I’ll respond to all the comments, and will return with a new blog post, soon.
Thanks again to Barbara, Al and Bamboo! If you are a blogger, you owe it to yourself to check out Barbara’s blog and get active in her community.

You deserve it. You have a great message, if I may say so (I’m a toddler too).

Hi there Ari – it has been good getting to know you.
I did not even realise your blog was new, the first few times I looked at it.

Robin,
Thanks. It’s funny that a few people mentioned that. I wonder what makes a blog look like it’s new? Just general disorganization/lack of tolerable design? I myself would assume that a blog is new if it’s using the default WordPress theme….
I do have to say, I’m glad I didn’t that much recognition earlier — as my site design was messier and clattery. When Bamboo told me that I may become NBOTW I hurriedly tweaked my site layout. Phew!

Hi Robert,
Welcome to OBV! Yes, I’m fond of my title as well. I took it out of a book called “Dream Manager” by Matthew Kelley. Check it out:

Hi Ari,
Finally I have time to come and visit your home (and let you know I’m here
). You’ve done a great job with your blog thus far. I had lots of fun checking out your posts, trying to find a few to quote. It was tough as they’re all good.
I’m happy you’re enjoying your reign as NBOTW. In the process my wish is for you to build your community while visiting others and making new friends.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I truly appreciate them.

Hi Barbara!
Welcome to OBV! I very much appreciate your endorsement. What’s funny is that the same time you took notice of my blog, I also realized that one of my submission to Carnival of Improving Life (http://improvedlife.ca/content/twentieth-edition-carnival-improving-life) was awarded Top Post Award. So it was a doubly special week — one that goes on my tipping point list.
Community is obviously a very important aspect of any blog site, but I did start this site with a clear intention to build one. I believed that by broadcasting well-articulated observations and opinions, I would be able to attract like-minded people, and together we can spread the message of empowerment, healing and hope.
Well — now that sounds like an informarcial, but really, I am enjoying what I’m doing, and it’s nice to know that it shows.
Looking forward to getting to to know you –
