You’re right — she is the founder of what we now call “terminal care.” I am grateful, as some of my loved ones went through such a care before departing.

I love her books and recently re-read her autobiography. What an incredible pioneer. Before her books, we didn’t even know the word “hospice” in the U.S. Thanks for profiling her.
