Blog Entrepreneur Mentoring Club
Make Lasting Friends. Get Things Done. Grow Your Business.
There are many resources for those of us who are trying to build online businesses. Even if you don’t pay anything, you can go read likes of Darren Rowse, Michael Martine, Dosh Dosh or Naomi Dunford and learn a great deal.
But knowing what to do is only half the battle. By itself, it will not help you.
You have to do it. It’s not knowledge, but well-informed actions that move a business forward.
This is where Blog Entrepreneur Mentoring Club (BEMC) comes in.
A Peer-Mentoring Group for Blog Entrepreneurs
I am going to put together a peer-mentoring group, a tight-knit pack of like-minded blog entrepreneurs who are committed to succeed and help each other achieve greatness.
Specifically, I am going to put the following structure in my peer-mentoring group, to ensure that BEMC develops into a safe and intimate group, and that every member has the maximum chance of achieving success.
- Exclusive online collaboration environment: This is where we can engage in private discussions, post our tasks, and set up milestones without worrying about exposing vulnerability to the public.
- A curriculum designed for our success: I wanted BEMC to be more than just a few buddies huddling together. So I’m going to work with an advanced blogger or entrepreneur to develop a curriculum that will help us develop our business visions (mission statements, defining our success, etc.).
- An experienced discussion leader: I will also hire a group moderator who is someone ahead of us Club Members in terms of where s/he is in their business development, so that s/he can guide us in our discussions and growth.
- Lasting and close community: I will prepare a series of community-building questions, designed to foster a sense of community and deepen the bond between Club Members. Plus, I intend to make the above collaboration area open pretty much forever — so while the “active” part of the program will last a few months, our community can stay together beyond that.
- Accountability = productivity: Finally, the heart of the matter — we will all support each other by keeping ourselves accountable with our tasks, plans and successes.
I am planning to set this up initially as a 3-month commitment, with an option to extend it to 6-month.
My vision is to use the 6 months of BEMC session to transform my business and everyone else’s by creating a powerful community that serves as a catapult for all of us, and create a tight-knit community whose bond will last beyond the scope of this project.
Will You Join Me?
But before I go out and hire other people, I need to know if enough people are interested in this idea of forming a peer-mentoring group.
If you’re at all interested in finding more about this or are open to considering joining this group, please enter your e-mail address below. This is a no-obligation sign-up; signing up now doesn’t mean that you have to apply/commit to it when it starts. And I will not sell, share or use your e-mail in any other way except to let you know when I’m ready to begin accepting applications without your permission.
And just so you know, there will be a monthly fee for club members, which will be entirely used to hire/commission other experts as described above, and to set up/host the collaboration environment. I will not make any profit from this initial group, as I myself will be a participant. I am looking for 10-15 members for this pilot group, but hopefully there will be enough interest to organize more groups down the road.
So - if you’re interested in making friends, being productive and advancing your business, sign up below! Also, please feel free to make suggestions if you have ideas about how to make this a great project.
